Rory is a Senior Policy Adviser for the UK Cabinet Office’s Behavioural Insights Team, currently on secondment to the Department of Premier and Cabinet in New South Wales.
Rory led the Behavioural Insights Team’s work on job centres, consumer empowerment and fraud, error and debt, which identified savings of over GBP300m and received a Civil Service Award for innovation.
Prior to joining the Behavioural Insights Team, Rory worked for the Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit and the Department for Education and before that completed a PhD at the University of Cambridge.

Tim Archer has spent the last 17 years in media and communication roles. He has worked in federal politics, Channel Seven Sport and the Australian Rugby Union. He became Media Manager for the NSW Police Force in 2007 before moving internally to his current role as Manager of Corporate Communications which oversees digital media, multimedia, internal communications, marketing and the production of television programs such as The Force and RBT.

He has been a marketing client, a University lecturer and for most his working life a brand and advertising strategist in South Africa, the UK and Australia.
He has worked in almost every category imaginable – packaged goods, services, technology and durables for local and international companies.
He has worked on numerous government campaigns, including behaviour change programs at three levels: federal, state and city.
